Details: The purpose of this project is to upgrade our network infrastructure by modernizing our wireless access points. Our wireless infrastructure has standardized on Meraki. Please download the RFP above for more details. Bidders must participate in eRate and have a valid SPIN # in order to be considered.
All bids due no later than March 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM Central Time.

eRate requires that all questions asked by bidders be posted so that all bidders may see the answers. If you have any questions, we will post those answers here.
Q: Are you willing to consider HPE Aruba access points with E Rate in place of Meraki MR-56?A: Vendors can submit a bid with other branded Wireless Access Points. As is stated in the RFP, the school district is standardized on the Meraki platform.
Safety Grant - Note that the Stairway Entrances of the Izzo Mariucci Building do not have exterior handles and has been corrected as such in the Bid Form.

The Request for Proposal includes several sections within each building. Vendors may elect to bid on a minimum of one project section to a maximum of all of the project sections, listed below. Vendors will be selected individually for each individual section.

The Proposals (also referred to as “Bids”) shall either be sent via mail or hand delivered. Bids received via fax or email will be considered to be invalid. Bids received after July 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM CDT will be considered to be invalid.

Pre-Bid Meeting
Bidders are highly recommended, but are not required, to attend the pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 at 9:00 AM CDT in the Commons Area of the Izzo-Mariucci Building; 217 Izzo Mariucci Way, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. Vendors will be required to sign in. Immediately following the meeting, a guided tour and inspection of the project sites will be conducted. Note that vendors will be touring the following buildings: the Izzo Mariucci Athletic Center, Central Middle School Addition Building, IM-K Community Schools Building (the former East Elementary building), and North Elementary. In the event of inclement weather and the District schools are closed, the Pre-bid meeting will be rescheduled. Please refer to the District website for further information about the Pre-Bid meeting.
