It's time, Mountaineers! 💛🖤 We're joining the effort to make sure EVERYONE PLAYS at the inclusive playground at Lake Antoine Park.
Bring your spare change, donate online, and and leave a “Mountaineer note” to be included in the tally.
More than a playground, this is about access, friendship, and belonging. Different abilities. One community. Everyone plays!

Beginning Oct. 2 youth employment permits will be processed through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity’s (LEO) new Youth Employment Permit Portal rather than through schools. The transition to the new portal does not change Michigan’s youth employment laws, requirements or protections. It simply moves the permit process to a new, centralized online platform.
A valid youth employment permit issued by a Michigan school before Oct. 2, 2026 will continue to be valid until the minor turns 18 or graduates. A new work permit is needed if the minor changes jobs.

Support North Elementary School and visit our teachers at McTeacher's Night at McDonald's of Iron Mountain on Thursday, October 29th from 4-7pm! Help save lives in the Upper Peninsula (UP) by donating blood. All donations made with the UP Regional Blood Center stay in the UP by supplying blood to patients in need at all 12 UP hospitals!

We are thrilled to announce that the Izzo-Mariucci Center, commons area, and gym are officially OPEN! After a long process of renovations, the entire center is now fully upgraded with brand-new A/C to keep you comfortable all season long. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back into the building! Please pardon our progress as we continue to organize, paint and update the entrance area. We're excited to welcome the community, students and families to come through, bring the energy, and root on the Black & Gold! 🖤💛
