Homework Hour (7th-12th Grade)
Students in grades 7–12 are invited to join Homework Hour after school from 3:00–4:00 pm Mondays-Thursdays in Mr. Christiansen's room. This is a great opportunity to receive extra help on assignments, ask questions, and stay on top of classwork in a supportive environment.

Bus Route Information Now Available
Choice Transportation Bus Service will provide bus transportation for Iron Mountain Public Schools for the 2025-26 school year. Please visit our Transportation Webpage for routes and more information.
Students should be at their bus stop at least 10 minutes before the published arrival time. Pick-up and drop-off times are subject to change, based on the need to make adjustments because of route changes.
Be prepared for some variation of times during the first few weeks. The arrival times should be consistent after the first two weeks of school.
Bus route schedules will be updated on our website as they become available.
If you have questions or need to update your transportation situation, please call your school office.
Dual Enrollment Announcement
Attention students enrolled in Dual Enrollment classes through Bay College for the Fall 2025 semester; please make sure to log into your Bay College email for important information regarding your courses and orientation.
Semester begins Monday, August 22nd. Please pick up your Chromebook from IMHS on August 20th after you have your picture taken.

We’re excited to announce that our Food Services Department is now using MealMagic, an easy-to-use online portal for managing school meals. As a reminder, breakfast and lunch are provided to all of our students at no charge.

Cheerleading Camp for Mini-Mountaineers
Mini Mountaineers in grades Preschool through 4th are invited to join IM Varsity Cheer for their Cheerleading Era!
Practices will take place September 2nd–4th from 3–4 p.m. in the North Elementary Gym, where participants will learn cheer, dance, tumble, and stunt.
The performance will be during the Varsity Football game on September 5th at Mountaineers Football Stadium, cheering with the Varsity Cheerleaders during the 2nd quarter and performing on the field at halftime. Sign-ups begin at the North Elementary Open House on August 19th.
The cost is $30 per cheerleader, which includes a shirt and bow. Scholarships are available—contact Coach Gonzales at gonzaless@imschools.org for details. The deadline to sign up is August 28th.
Title I funding is used to offer support services to students who need extra time and instruction to master grade level curriculum. Title I schools are identified through a state formula each year.
A parent letter will be sent home if your child is identified as eligible for support services funded through Title I. Title I services may be short term or long term depending on the needs of each individual student. We are pleased to offer these services to help ALL of our students be successful.
